In our latest website poll, respondents shared their perspectives on two hot-button topics: upticks in supplier mergers and acquisitions and broker consolidation. The results? A nuanced mix of neutrality and cautious optimism.

When asked whether M&A among suppliers would improve the customer experience, just under 25% agreed or strongly agreed, while over 40% expressed disagreement. Similarly, broker consolidation drew even more skepticism, just 25% saw it as a positive shift, while nearly half disagreed or strongly disagreed.

What stands out is the high percentage of neutral responses – 33% for supplier M&A and 25% for broker consolidation, suggesting uncertainty or a wait-and-see attitude among customers.

These answers offer directional insight, as these signals highlight the importance of customer-centric strategies as the energy sector evolves.
